What’s the framework?
We learn about whole-systems thinking from nature, our most prominent teacher. When designing or creating your permaculture system, consider the connections of all elements in your system and the system’s entire life cycle. An example of whole-systems thinking is how elements like the sun, water, soil, plants, animals and human beings interact and support one another as a system.
The sustainable flower with the core ethics of permaculture will be our learning guide. Every month, we will work with a petal.
- Activities shared will reflect the petal that we are studying. Activities will never be repeated. Petals will be repeated every six months due to the complexity of the subjects.Â
- You can choose American English or British English, making the activity relevant to your child/ren.
What ages do the activities fit?
The activities fit 6-year-olds to 16 years old and onwards. Activities can be easily modified for different ages and abilities. We will attempt to suit your child’s educational needs where possible.
